Take a hop around the valley and join in on the fun at these community Easter egg hunts.
Medford Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt: The Kiwanis Club of Medford will host the club’s 80th annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at Pear Blossom Park, at East Fifth and North Bartlett streets in Medford. Families are advised to arrive 15 minutes early. Four separate hunts will occur: ages 0-3 plus disabled children, ages 4-5, ages 6-7 and ages 8-10. ‘Hunt for a Cause’: Logos Public Charter School’s Rotary Interact Club will host “Hunt for a Cause” which will include festivities for the whole family from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, in Medford at Logos Public Charter School, 1203 N. Ross Lane, and next door at Wes Howard Memorial Sports Park, 1221 N. Ross Lane. An Easter egg hunt for kids ages 0-10+ will be held at 1 p.m. A free throw competition will take place from 1:45 to 3 p.m., and a silent auction featuring gifts from local businesses will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Throughout the afternoon, look for carnival games, concessions and opportunities to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Admission is free; Tickets for carnival games are 10 for $5 or 20 for $7.50; free throw competition is $1 per entry. All proceeds to benefit Southern Oregon Family Solutions. Central Point Eggstravaganza: Kids can hunt for eggs, play games, take pictures with the Easter Bunny and more from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8, at Twin Creeks Park, 555 Twin Creeks Crossing Loop, Central Point. Rogue River Kiwanis Egg Hunt: The Kiwanis Club of Rogue River will hold its annual egg hunt for children ages 10 and younger at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Beck Field, corner of W. Main and Berglund streets, Rogue River. A special area will be set aside for children 5 years and younger. Also look for special prizes; free hot chocolate, coffee and donuts will be served. The Great Mt. Ashland Egg Hunt: Egg-splore the Mt. Ashland Ski Area during an on-mountain photo scavenger hunt, beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 9. Kids can pick up a list of clues at the ticket or retail desk, then take a picture of themselves with different things around the mountain. Once they solve all the clues, participants can show their pictures at the ticket or retail desks to claim their prize. Big kids and adults can search for a single golden egg on the mountain. Find the golden egg and win a season pass for the 2023-24 season. Mt. Ashland staff will post clues on Facebook and Instagram throughout the day to help with the search. Ashland Rotary Easter Egg Hunt: The Rotary Club of Ashland will hold its 63rd annual Easter egg hunt Sunday, April 9, by the pickleball courts in Lithia Park along Winburn Way. Festivities begin with the arrival of the Easter Bunny at noon, and the Easter egg hunt begins promptly at 1 p.m. Families are encouraged to arrive early, as parking is limited and the hunt will be over in a minute or two. Kids will be separated into age groups of 2 and younger, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 years old, to hunt for over 3,000 chocolate and hard-boiled eggs, as well as a dozen “golden” eggs that can be traded in for special prizes. EdenVale Easter Egg Hunt: Children can hunt for Easter eggs, Sunday, April 9, in the Voorhies Mansion formal gardens at EdenVale Winery, 2310 Voorhies Road, Medford. The egg hunt will begin at 12:15 p.m. for ages 1-5; and at 1 p.m. for ages 6-12. Also look for family activities, lots of prizes and treats, and the photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Dressy attire preferred. Grown-ups can sip a glass of wine or a mimosa and enter to win an adult Easter basket. Check in begins at 11:30 a.m. at EdenVale tasting room.
