Felony arrests

Burglary, failure to appear — Michael Jonathan Barrett, 48, of the 400 block of Silver Creek Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Barrett Tuesday on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree attempted burglary, possession of burglary tools, second-degree criminal mischief, false information to a police officer, second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful possession of a schedule II controlled substance felony, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine-less than one ounce. Barrett was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of identity theft, second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Barrett was lodged in jail on $125,000.

Burglary, failure to appear — Dustin Victor Brooks, 44, of the 600 block of S. Holly Street, Medford. Ashland police arrested Brooks Wednesday on charges of first-degree burglary, contempt of court-violation of a no-contact order and a warrant for failure to appear on the same charge.

Criminal mischief — Gregory Ellison Butler III, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Butler Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of third-degree robbery, second-degree criminal mischief, harassment, third-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree disorderly conduct and escape. Butler was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Strangulation — Nickolas Allen Chapman, 34, of the 1000 block of E. 10th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Chapman Wednesday on charges of felony strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Chapman was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail.

DUI, failure to appear — Scott Anthony Chapman, 53, of the 2000 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and failure to report as a sex offender. Chapman was lodged in jail and released.

Meth possession, failure to appear — Mark Lande Clayton, 52, of the 10 block of Morel Court, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Clayton Wednesday on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Clayton was lodged in jail without bail.

Criminal trespass, parole violation, failure to appear — Anna Corinne Connor, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Connor Wednesday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Connor was also arrested Wednesday on a parole violation for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and a warrant on failure to appear for second-degree theft. Connor was lodged in jail without bail.

Driving without a license, probation violation and failure to appear — Ronald Ray Doty, 48, of the 6000 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Doty Wednesday on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. Doty was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear and a probation violation for charges of driving while suspended or revoked. Doty was lodged in jail and released.

Vehicle theft, failure to appear — Joan Lorranine Ferguson, 30, of the 700 block of Nita Lynne, Medford. A Jackson County Circuit Court judge issued an order for custody and release conditions for Ferguson, who was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving, reckless endangering, driving under the influence of intoxicants, first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, supplying contraband and second-degree criminal trespass by a guest. Ferguson was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree burglary, third-degree theft, improper use of emergency communications, interfering with a police officer, second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Ferguson was lodged in jail on $326,000 bail.

Theft, failure to appear — Courtney Rose Jones, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Jones Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of third-degree theft. Jones was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Meth possession, failure to appear — Justin Theodore Marshall, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Marshall Wednesday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and a warrant for failure to appear on the same charge. Marshall was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault, failure to appear — David Charles Meeker, 45, of the 6000 block of Foley Lane, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Meeker Wednesday on a charge of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine-less than one ounce. Meeker was lodged in jail without bail.

Drug possession, failure to appear — Luis Alfredo Ortega-Arechiga, 32, of the 900 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Ashland police arrested Ortega-Arechiga Wednesday on felony unlawful possession of heroin and providing false information to a police officer. Ortega-Arechiga was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Ortega-Arechiga was lodged in jail and released.

Strangulation — Angela Marie Owen, 47, of the 500 block of Fir Street, Butte Falls. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Owen Tuesday on felony strangulation-domestic abuse and harassment. Owen was lodged in jail and released.

Attempted identity theft — Jimmy Paul Palmer, 34, of the 1200 block of Corona Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Palmer Tuesday on charges of attempted identity theft. Palmer was lodged in jail and released.

Theft, failure to appear — Loyal Lee O Pendleton, 33, no known address. Ashland police arrested Pendleton Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Pendleton was lodged in jail without bail.

Burglary — Tracy Leigh Phillips, 53, no known address. Ashland police arrested Phillips Tuesday on charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief. Phillips was lodged in jail and released.

Burglary — Gabrielle Audrey Rasmussen, 22, of the 200 block of Willow Bend Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Rasmussen Tuesday on charges of first-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Rasmussen was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.

Sexual abuse — Anthony Allen Reisinger, 40, of the 100 block of Lewis Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Reisinger Tuesday on charges of first-, second- and third-degree sexual abuse and attempted third-degree sodomy. Reisinger was lodged in jail on $250,000 bail.

Criminal trespass, failure to appear — Christopher Corey Sanger, 53, no known address. Medford police arrested Sanger Wednesday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Sanger was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal mischief. Sanger was lodged in jail without bail.

Child sex crimes, probation violation — Leonard Allen Weedman, 63, no known address. Probation and parole officers arrested Weedman Wednesday on a probation violation for first-degree sexual corruption of a child. Weedman was lodged in jail without bail.

Theft, failure to appear — Shane Cody Glen Weidman, 29, of the 700 block of E. Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Weidman Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Weidman was lodged in jail without bail.
