The 70th annual Rogue Valley Pear Blossom Festival kicks off Friday, April 7, with a street fair from noon to 10 p.m. at Pear Blossom Park on North Bartlett Street in downtown Medford. The Smudge Pot Stroll through downtown runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, where you can taste local wines and appetizers. The street fair will continue from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 8, with live music, food, art and handmade crafts from over 150 vendors. The Pear Blossom running races kick off between 7 and 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The Pear Blossom Parade starts at 11 a.m. at Beatty Street and North Central Avenue, travels through downtown, and takes a right on West Main Street to Mistletoe Street.
