The Tutunov Piano Series presented by the Oregon Center for the Arts at Southern Oregon University has announced its new season of six concerts starting in the fall and running through spring 2024.

Featured guest artists will include international pianists Sergei Babyayan, Garrick Ohlsson and Krystian Tkaczewski; violinists Kinga Augstyn and Fritz Gerhart; Rhett Bender on saxophone; and pianist and “Rising Star” Parker Van Ostrand.

The namesake of the series, Alexander Tutunov, will join the violin and saxophone performers, taking the stage twice during the season.

The series will open on Oct. 6 and offer additional performances Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Feb. 16, 2024, March 22, 2024, and will close with the final performance on April 12, 2024.

All performances will take place at the SOU Music Recital Hall in Ashland, and concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. in-person with a simultaneous livestream available on the Oregon Center for the Arts YouTube Channel.

“We are delighted to be able to again offer a full season of concerts and a discounted package that will give preference for patron seating,” Alexander Tutunov said. “We have not been able to provide a full season due to the pandemic and complications with international travel restrictions for the past three years. This is a fantastic roster of guest artists, that you won’t want to miss,.

“There will be something for everyone.”

The entire season of six concerts will be offered in a package that offers a 10% discount. Select single concerts of three or more are offered with a 5% discount. Reserved seating will be offered with packages. Reserved seats are $35 per person, $30 for seniors for individual tickets and a livestream costs $30 per household.

VIP reserved seating is available through subscription forms and pre-sales at the OCA Box Office during the month of April until May 1. Online packages and individual tickets for the series will be available starting May 15.
