AGE: Buster is a 2-year-old brindle pit bull terrier.

PERSONALITY: Buster is a friendly guy who weighs about 60 pounds.

HIGHLIGHTS: Buster walks well on leash and is a pretty happy guy. He enjoys attention and affection and even prances when he is in a yard. Buster knows sit and shake. He is very treat motivated, so further training should be a breeze. He has been selective about who he plays with at the shelter, so a meet and greet with any dogs in the home prior to the adoption is recommended. Buster is neutered, has had most vaccinations and is microchipped.

AVAILABLE: Buster is available at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix. The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and noon to 4 and Saturday and Sunday.

ADOPTION FEE: $160. A free wellness visit is included.
