Special election ballots must have May 16 postmark, or use drop box until 8 p.m. Tuesday

Cars line up at the ballot drop box at the Jackson County Elections Office on West Main Street in Medford in 2023.

You still have time to vote in Tuesday’s special election by mail, but it must have a May 16 postmark to be counted.

Official drop boxes are the other option. Ballots will be accepted until 8 p.m. Tuesday at marked locations at the Medford, Ashland, Central Point, Eagle Point, Phoenix and Rogue River library branches, and at the Jackson County Elections Office, 1101 W. Main St., Medford.

The Jackson County Clerk’s Office will begin announcing results at 8 p.m. on its website. The Rogue Valley Times also plans coverage of local races and measures after results are announced. Check rv-times.com for updates.
