Phoenix senior Julius Bolstad and junior Jayden Vos secured the lone first-team spots on their respective all-Skyline Conference baseball and softball teams after voting by the conference’s coaches.

Bolstad paced the Pirates by being named the Skyline Conference baseball pitcher of the year despite finishing with three no-decisions.

The right-handed pitcher posted a 5-0 overall record and 1.73 ERA after consistently strong outings. Bolstad finished with 80 strikeouts and 19 walks in 48⅔ innings for Phoenix.

Vos primarily played shortstop but also saw time as a pitcher and catcher at various times this spring for the Phoenix softball team, batting .418 with 27 runs scored and 15 RBIs. Vos finished with 12 stolen bases, belting out three triples and five doubles.
