AGE: Archie is an adorable 1½-year-old border collie mix.

PERSONALITY: Archie is a playful, silly guy who loves belly rubs and fetching balls.

HIGHLIGHTS: Archie is an energetic young dog who could use some continued training, as he can be strong on the leash and jumpy/mouthy at times. He’s a diamond in the rough who will prove to be a wonderful companion. Oh, did we mention that he loves treats?

AVAILABLE: Archie is available at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., Phoenix. The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins welcomed. No appointment needed.

ADOPTION FEE: Archie’s adoption fee is $160, as well as a $25 county license. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with his vaccinations.
