Failure to register as a sex offender — John Carrie Benjamin, 74, of the 2000 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Benjamin Wednesday on a felony charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Benjamin was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Identity theft, failure to appear — Peter Brennan, 46, of the 7000 block of Harlem Drive, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Brennan Wednesday on charges of identity theft, third-degree theft, providing false information to a police officer and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Brennan was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. Brennan was lodged in jail without bail.

Assault, failure to appear — Robert Joseph Harland Jr., 59, of the 700 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Harland Wednesday on charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. Harland was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of public indecency. Harland was lodged in jail without bail.

Criminal mischief, failure to appear — Cassidy Ann Harrison, 31, no known address. Ashland police arrested Harrison Wednesday on charges of second-degree criminal mischief, reckless burning, reckless endangering and a warrant for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass. Harrison was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Domestic violence — Justin Carl Hunsley, 39, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hunsley Wednesday on felony charges of fourth-degree assault and strangulation. Hunsley was also arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, menacing, reckless endangering, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and contempt of court. Hunsley was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of contempt of court and a parole violation for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Hunsley was lodged in jail on $35,000 bail.

Disorderly conduct, harassment — Alex Dewane Jeffers, 31, no known address. Ashland police arrested Jeffers Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. Jeffers was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Gerald David Leonardo Jr., 37, of the 2000 block of Brownsboro Highway, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Leonardo Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree theft. Leonardo was lodged in jail on $7,500 bail.

Domestic violence — Robert Hairdo Pettit Jr., 21, no known address. Talent police arrested Pettit Tuesday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon-domestic violence, coercion-domestic violence, menacing-domestic abuse and attempted second-degree assault. Pettit was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.

Failure to appear — Aaron Scott Alexander, 51, no known address. Medford police arrested Alexander Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree theft. Alexander was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Elizabeth Robin Baines, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Baines Monday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of third-degree theft and harassment. Baines was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Zerrick Kerr Brown, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Brown Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of carrying concealed weapons, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass. Brown was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
