Daniel G. Burrill

Daniel G. Burrill, of Beaverton, OR passed away suddenly July 20th, 2023 while vacationing on the Oregon Coast. He was born August 23, 1946 in Vancouver, WA to Glenn + Lois Burrill, who both preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his brother Douglas, and a son, David. He is survived by his wife, Sherry, his children Charles Burrill and Lisa Burrill Rife both of the Portland area, and step children Manaska Marberry, New York City, and Timothy Marberry of Beaverton. Also surviving is one sister, Carol Burrill Coffman of Eugene, 4 grandsons, his extended family and many friends. He attended school in Eagle Point, graduating in 1964. He was a Vietnam Veteran spending 6 years in the U.S. Army, and then serving full time in the Oregon National Guard as a Public Relations Officer for the State of Oregon until retirement. He continued in a private career of Photo Journalism, with many published articles on his favorite subjects, mainly racing, and classic cars. Also he wrote several books, and was still writing under contract at his death. He was a Christian man, full of joy and life, and laughter.

Internment will be at the National Cemetery in Portland, OR.
