Age: Toffee is a 7-year-old tortie.

Personality: Toffee came to the shelter after her owner died, so she is pretty shy as she is adjusting to her new surroundings.

Highlights: While Toffee is shy, she does still love to be petted. She will need a home that will be patient with her while she adjusts to her new life.

Available: Toffee is available at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., Phoenix. The shelter is open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and noon-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins welcomed. No appointment needed.
