Walk against domestic violence

Community Works will hold a family friendly “Walk Against Domestic Violence” event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, in downtown Medford.

The walk will begin at the Jackson County Courthouse, 100 S. Oakdale Ave., to Pear Blossom Park, 204 N. Bartlett St., in Medford. Following the walk, look for guest speakers, live entertainment, food trucks and more in Pear Blossom Park.

Registration for the walk begins at 9 a.m. at the Jackson County Courthouse.

The event aims to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence in Jackson County and highlight the numerous support services available.
