Arrests

Failure to appear — Jeffrey William Elmore, 58, of the 20700 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Elmore Friday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of contempt of court for violating a no contact order and driving under the influence of intoxicants and a charge of contempt of court for violating a no contact order. Elmore was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $7,500 bail.

Fugitive, carrying of concealed weapons — Ian Thomas Marker, 36, of the 1100 block of Murray Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Marker Friday as a fugitive from California, on probation violations for first-degree theft and unlawful possession of methamphetamine and on charges of carrying of concealed weapons and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. Marker was lodged in jail without bail.

Criminal mischief — Dane Mentzer, 39, of the 100 block of Willamette Street, Eugene. Medford police arrested Mentzer Friday on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief. Mentzer was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Luis Alberto Molina, 33, of the 700 block of Alpine Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Molina Thursday on a parole violation for unlawful manufacture of heroin and charges of attempting to elude police by vehicle, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of heroin and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Molina was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.

Failure to appear — Mario Ramirez-Losano, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Ramirez-Losano Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of identity theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Ramirez-Losano was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.

Failure to appear, probation violation — Wayne Michael Smith, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Smith Friday on warrants for failure to appear on two charges of first-degree theft, two probation violations for first-degree theft and charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, giving false information to a police officer and second-degree disorderly conduct. Smith was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Dustin Mackenzie St. Clair, 38, of the 500 block of Elm Way, Eagle Point. Phoenix police arrested St. Clair Friday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and interfering with making a report. St. Clair was lodged in jail without bail.

Theft, criminal trespass — Ryan Benjamin Taal, 33, of the 500 block of Yauger Way, Olympia, Washington. Ashland police arrested Taal Friday on charges of first-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Taal was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
