Arrests
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle — Nathan Joseph Corona, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Corona Saturday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, providing false information to a police officer, carrying of a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and failure to carry or present a license to a police officer. Corona was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
Felon in possession of a firearm — Leonard Howard Jones III, 58, of the 500 block of Bessie Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Jones Saturday on charges of felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful delivery of a marijuana item. Jones was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to report as a sex offender, escape, failure to appear — Dusty Brian Korner, 39, of the 10000 block of Duggan Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Korner Sunday on charges of failure to report as a sex offender and third-degree escape. Korner was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on failure to report as a sex offender, reckless endangering, reckless burning and second-degree criminal trespass. Korner was lodged in jail without bail.
Coercion — Austin Thomas Jon Lundberg, 27, of the 3000 block of Creek Monte Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Lundberg Sunday on charges of coercion, misdemeanor fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Lundberg was lodged in jail without bail.
Harassment, failure to appear — Spencer Monte Todd Barnett, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Barnett Saturday on a charge of harassment and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of resisting arrest. Barnett was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Nicholas Ryan Crisler, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Crisler Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of third-degree assault, unlawful possession of methamphetamine-less than one ounce, unlawful possession of a schedule III controlled substance, unlawful possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, fourth-degree assault, harassment, contempt of court for violating a restraining order, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, supplying contraband, first-degree theft, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and unlawful possession of heroin. Crisler was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Kenneth Evan Elam, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Elam Friday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. Elam was also arrested on a probation violation for second-degree burglary. Elam was lodged in jail without bail.
Unlawful use of a weapon, menacing — Michael James Jones, 41, of the 2000 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Jones Friday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. Jones was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Failure to appear — Michael Lira, 46, of the 3000 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lira Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of harassment and menacing. Lira was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Attempted murder — Joseph Larry Lopez, 18, of the 800 block of Bower Avenue, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Lopez Saturday on charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Lopez was lodged in jail without bail.
Domestic abuse — Sal Vitale III, 36, of the 3000 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Vitale Friday on a felony charge of strangulation-domestic abuse, misdemeanor fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Vitale was lodged in jail without bail.
Coercion, harassment — Eric Lawrence Vogel, 47, of the 400 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Vogel Saturday on charges of coercion and harassment. Vogel was lodged in jail without bail.
