Arrests

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle — Christopher Shane Boyce, 33, no known address. Medford police arrested Boyce Wednesday on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, second-degree theft, reckless driving. Boyce was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Fugitive — Julio Chon Bojorquez, 43, of the 100 block of North Pacific Highway, Talent. Phoenix police arrested Bojorquez Wednesday on a warrant as a fugitive from justice wanted in California. Bojorquez was lodged in jail without bail.

Probation violations — Mitzy Marie Conley, 39, of the 700 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Conley Wednesday on probation violations for felony unlawful possession of heroin and possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Conley was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Preston Glenn Curtis, 18, of 1000 block of Old Highway 99, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Curtis Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Curtis was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Criminal mischief, burglary — Damian Jesus Garza, 19, of the 10th block of 1st Street, Prospect. Eagle Point police arrested Garza Wednesday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, third-degree criminal mischief. Garza was lodged in jail without bail.

Identity theft, parole violation — Kelcy Lynette Lavada, 34, of the 400 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Lavada Tuesday on a charge of identity theft. Lavada was also arrested on a parole violation for first-degree theft. Lavada was lodged in jail on $7,500 bail.

Probation violation — Ira Matthew Ponder, of the 500 block of Western Avenue, Medford. Parole and probation officers arrested Ponder Tuesday on a probation violation for first-degree burglary. Ponder was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Charles Eric Simi, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Simi Tuesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. Simi was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to report as a sex offender — Ray Lynn Skaggs, 33, of the 80th block of S. Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested on a felony charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Skaggs was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Domestic abuse — Bradley Allen Temple, 40, of the 1000 block of Sunrise Way, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Temple Wednesday on a felony charge of strangulation-domestic abuse. Temple was also arrested on a charge of harassment. Temple was lodged in jail without bail.

Theft, failure to appear — Linda Maria Thompson, of the 600 block of Sheffield Drive, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Thompson Wednesday on a charge of second-degree theft and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Thompson was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Michael Kaipolemanu Todd, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Todd Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Todd was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Probation violation — Jessyca Ann Turner, 31, of the 6000 block of McLaughlin Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Turner on a probation violation for a felony charge of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse.

Parole violation — Christopher Shawn Willey, 44, of the 5000 block of North Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Parole and probation officers arrested Willey Wednesday on a parole violation for tampering with a witness. Willey was lodged in jail without bail.

Attempting to elude police, parole violation — Raymond Lloyd Young, 40, no known address. A Jackson County Circuit Court judge set custody and release conditions for Young, who was arrested on charges of unlawful delivery and possession of methamphetamine, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police by vehicle, reckless driving and reckless endangering. Young was also arrested on a parole violation for attempting to elude police by vehicle. Young, a registered sex offender, was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.
