Arrests

Burglary — Ivana Lynn Balcom, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Balcom Sunday on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. Balcom was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on her own recognizance. 

Theft, probation violation — Esperanza Rubi Cordes-Jacobo, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Cordes-Jacobo Saturday on a charge of first-degree theft. Cordes-Jacobo was also arrested on a probation violation for third-degree assault. Cordes-Jacobo was lodged in jail without bail. 

Failure to appear — Jessica Danielle Engberg-Morrison, 40, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Engberg-Morrison Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of third-degree theft. Engberg-Morrison was not listed in jail logs Monday.

Failure to appear — Darren M. Nakaishi, 53, no known address. Medford police arrested Nakaishi Sunday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft. Nakaishi was also arrested on out of county warrants in Umatilla County. Nakaishi was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Ashley Dawn Smith, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Smith Sunday on a warrant for second-degree criminal trespass. Smith was lodged in jail without bail. 

Disorderly conduct, failure to appear — Kirk David Vanderwood, 28, of the 1000 block of North 87th Drive, Peoria, Arizona. Medford police arrested Vanderwood Saturday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of resisting arrest. Vanderwood was not listed in jail logs Monday.

Burglary, theft — Matthew Keith Bertrand, 42, no known address. Central Point police arrested Bertrand Friday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree theft, interfering with a police, parole or probation officer and felon in possession of a firearm. Bertrand was also arrested on a charge of attempted first-degree burglary. Bertrand was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Ronda Darlene Bjork, 39, of the 700 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Bjork Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of hit-and-run resulting in property damage. Bjork was lodged in jail without bail.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle — Yessica Gurrola, 35, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. Central Point police arrested Gurrola Saturday on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Gurrola was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Bradley William Krauss, 42, of the 10th block of Morrel Court, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Krauss Saturday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. Krauss was lodged in jail without bail.

Unlawful contact with a child — Ryan Christopher Lehmann, 41, of the 1000 block of Wedgewood Circle, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Lehmann Friday on felony charges of failure to report as a sex offender and unlawful contact with a child. Lehmann was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Domestic abuse — Dagoberto Antonio Madero-Gastelum, 32, of the 6000 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Madero-Gastelum on a felony charge of strangulation-domestic abuse. Madero-Gastelum was also arrested on a charge of domestic violence-menacing and harassment. Madero-Gastelum was lodged in jail without bail.

Mail theft — Kimberly Nicole Pappe, 50, of the 2000 block of Rogue River Drive, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Pappe Friday on a charge of mail theft. Pappe was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Unlawful use of a weapon — Jonathan Patrick Patterson-Espinoza, 24, of the 200 block of Tolman Creek, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Patterson-Espinoza Saturday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. Patterson-Espinoza was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Mail theft — Tyler Bryan Smith, 22, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Smith Friday on charges of mail theft, assault on a police or public safety officer and resisting arrest. Smith was also arrested on a parole violation for mail theft. Smith was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Jamie Daniele Swieczkowski, 49, of the 1000 block of Morey Road, Talent. Talent police arrested Swieczkowski Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol. Swieczkowski was lodged in jail without bail.

Reckless driving, attempting to elude police — Shannon Michelle Trubenbach, 49, of the 1000 block of Scott Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Trubenbach Saturday on charges of reckless driving, and attempting to elude police by vehicle and foot. Trubenbach was also arrested on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft and third-degree theft. Trubenbach was lodged in jail without bail.

Identity theft — Tashina Marie Walker, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Saturday on charges of identity theft, first degree theft, second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Walker was not listed in jail logs Monday.

Marketplace
