A screenshot from video surveillance system footage at Time Out Sports Bar on Stewart Avenue shows an armed robbery suspect, who Medford police describe as a "younger white male of slim build."

A suspect in an armed robbery that took place Wednesday at a Medford business is on the run, and police are asking for the public’s help in locating the individual.

The suspect, believed to be male, entered the Time Out Sports Bar with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, who was closing the business for the night, according to a news release from the Medford Police Department. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

An employee with the business declined to comment Wednesday.

Police responded to a report of the crime at about 1:58 a.m. The suspect had already fled on foot.

A K9 was used in a nearby neighborhood to sniff out the suspect, but the individual was not located, according to the release.

The department released a photo from the business’s video surveillance system to help the public identify the suspect, who police describe as a “younger white male of slim build.”

The suspect is wearing “all dark clothing, a hood, gloves and a black-and-white face mask and Van’s brand shoes,” the release said.

The surveillance camera screenshots may distort colors, height and weight, the release said.
