Arrests

Failure to appear — Emmett Mitchell Avila, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Avila Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Avila was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Criminal trespass — Nicoa Sterling Cline, 31, of the 300 block of Oxford Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Cline Monday on a charge of first-degree criminal trespass. Cline was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Angela Marie Dodson, 36, of the 7000 block of Highway 238, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Dodson Monday on warrants for failure to appear on felony and misdemeanor charges of unlawful possession of heroin. Dodson was also arrested on charges of unlawful delivery of heroin and unlawful manufacture of heroin. Dodson was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.

City ordinance offense, failure to appear — Ricky Lee Gray, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Gray Monday on a charge of city ordinance offense. Gray was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. Gray was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Charles Sherman Hungerford II, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Hungerford Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of city ordinance offense. Hungerford was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault, resisting arrest — Randy Iovinelli, 42, of the 800 block of Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Iovinelli Sunday on charges of second-degree assault and resisting arrest. Iovinelli was lodged in jail on $100,000 bail.

Burglary, theft, criminal trespass — Matthew David Maurer, 45, of the 3000 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Maurer Sunday on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. Maurer was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Christian Emanuel Ornelas, 35, of the 2000 block of Brae Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ornelas Monday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, menacing and stalking.

Criminal trespass, failure to appear — Brandon Michael Senter, 26, no known address. Central Point police arrested Senter Monday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Senter was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of resisting arrest. Senter was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Gabriel Neil Stevens, 26, of the 100 block of North 10th Street, Medford. Ashland police arrested Stevens Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of third-degree theft. Stevens was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Improper use of emergency communications — Joseph O’Neil Thomas, 46, of the 3000 block of Sycamore Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Thomas Sunday on 10 counts of improper use of emergency communications. Thomas was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Improper use of emergency communications, probation violation — Joseph O’Neil Thomas Jr., 23, of the 3000 block of Sycamore Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Thomas on one count of improper use of emergency communications and a probation violation for first-degree theft.

Failure to report as a sex offender — Ian Daniel Tompkins, 47, of the 1000 block of West 9th Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Tompkins Monday on a felony charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Tompkins was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Failure to appear — Brandon Lee Whitten, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Whitten on warrants for failure to appear on charges of felony strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, fourth-degree assault, hit-and-run resulting in property damage, harassment, providing false information to a police officer and second-degree animal neglect. Whitten was lodged in jail without bail.
