Diane Ruth McGinnis

July 31, 1946 – January 25, 2024

Diane Ruth McGinnis died peacefully at the age of 77 surrounded by family at her home in Medford Oregon. Born July 31st 1947 to Daniel and Dorothy Muzik in Los Angeles California at Queen of Angels hospital. Diane grew up in Los Angeles attending Hawthorn high school. After high school she worked in Reno, Nevada at a casino where she met Coy Mcginnis with whom she shared four children. They moved to Medford Oregon in 1987 where they established an Adult Foster Home for the Mentally Ill. She provided wonderful care as a support, friend, and as a surrogate family member. Anyone who knew Diane knows she was not an ordinary person, but an extraordinary person who loved deeply and without judgment.

She is survived by her Sister Donna and Husband Robert Bennett, four children, James and wife Patricia McGinnis, Cindy McGinnis, Teresa McGinnis, Jody and husband Phillip Dwyer, 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be held Friday February 23rd at Living Waters Church located at 360 East Jackson St, in Medford at 1pm.
