UPDATE: Missing 75-year-old Central Point man found

California Highway Patrol has located the 75-year-old man from rural Central Point who went missing Sunday morning, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Robert Michael Lewis, who goes by “Mike,” was located north of Canby on Highway 139, the sheriff’s office said in a Sunday afternoon release.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies and search-and-rescue personnel are attempting to locate a 75-year-old man missing from rural Central Point, authorities said Sunday.

Robert Michael Lewis, who goes by the name “Mike,” went missing early Sunday from his residence in the 6900 block of Old Stage Road. The sheriff’s office said Lewis might be suffering from confusion due to medical issues. He is described as a white male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Lewis has no cellphone with him and was last seen driving a newer model silver Nissan Rogue with temporary license plates.
