It’s a big number, and it’s the number of views on the Rogue Valley Times’ website since we launched a little more than a year ago.
In that time, we’ve engaged more than 1.4 million users, according to analytics compiled by EO Media Group’s Audience Engagement Editor Julia Moore, who works from the Times’ office in downtown Medford.
Recently, some of our top stories have dealt with controversies in our communities, from reporter Buffy Pollock’s story about turmoil at the Forest Glen Senior Residence in Canyonville to concessionaire troubles at Crater Lake National Park. Local sports stories also have generated heavy traffic, particularly on social media.
