Arrests

Sexual abuse — Jonathan Nicholas Early, 38, of the 300 block of Butler Creek Road, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Early Monday on charges of third-degree sexual abuse and harassment. Early was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Failure to appear — Mickey Coy Estep, 45, of the 1000 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Estep Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 

Failure to appear — Vanessa Cruz Hernandez, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Hernandez Tuesday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass. Hernandez was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance. 

Domestic abuse — Albin Christopher Hudek, 49, of the 600 block of Ipson Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Hudek Tuesday on a felony charge of strangulation-domestic abuse and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and interfering with making a police report. Hudek was lodged in jail and released. 

Aggravated harassment — Janique Lee Kosct, 32, of the 2000 block of Hawaiian Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Kosct Tuesday on charges of aggravated harassment, second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest. Kosct was lodged in jail without bail. 

Criminal trespass, theft, failure to appear — Amanda Kay Noland, 33, of the 4000 block of Highway 238, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Noland on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. Noland was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Noland was lodged in jail on $9,000 bail. 

Failure to appear — Damien James Reed, 30, of the 100 block of Crocker Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Reed Monday on warrants for failure to appear on felony charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended or revoked license and reckless driving. Reed was lodged in jail on $100,000 bail.

Attempted murder — Elijah Ian Zeigler, 20, of the 1000 block of Gene Cameron Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Zeigler Tuesday on charges of second-degree attempted murder, attempted first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and reckless endangering. Zeigler was lodged in jail without bail.
