Election Letters about items on the ballot for the state’s May 21 Primary Election are limited to 150 words. Submissions exceeding that guideline either will be edited for length or returned to the writer for resubmission.

Letters must be submitted by Tuesday, May 14, for consideration for the Times’ print editions. Letters received after May 14 will be considered for publication on our website.

Letters must be submitted by Friday, May 17, for consideration to run online at rv-times.com/opinion. Letters received after May 17 will not be considered for publication.

Submissions exhibiting evidence of a letter-writing campaign, as well as those including personal attacks, will not be published.
