Art & Soul Ashland: The gallery features paintings in a variety of media and styles, pottery, photography and more by local and regional artists. Art du Jour Gallery: See exhibits by local artists in myriad media such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen-and-ink, Conté crayon, collage, sculpture, photography, mixed media and more. Throughout June, the Feature Wall in the Main Gallery will display photography work of member artist Andrea Cloud, featuring vibrant hummingbirds, and the Art Vault will showcase work of visiting photographer Vivian McAlevey. Gambrel Gallery: The gallery, which features work by a variety of local artists, is located in an iconic red barn at 1980 E. Main St., Ashland. Oak Leaf Studio: Located at 247 Oak St., Ashland, Oak Leaf Studio is the working and gallery space of local artist Leif Trygg, who works in a variety of media, including pastel, watercolor, acrylic and digital imaging. Combining elements of fire and water, the “Steam Works” exhibit in the Main Gallery features work by local watercolor artist Lynda Hoffman-Snodgrass and Chicago glass artist Peter Patterson, on display through June 28. Schneider Museum of Art: Southern Oregon University’s Schneider Museum of Art, 555 Indiana St. Ashland, will display the exhibit, “Pacing,” featuring the photography work of Dru Donovan, Melanie Flood and Tarrah Krajnak, on view June 13-Aug. 10. Each artist uses performative methods to document their body and those of others to reflect on their relationships to social histories, expectations and structures.
