Arrests
Unlawful use of a weapon — Keith Wayne Beed, 49, of the 2400 block of Granite Court, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Beed Friday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon-domestic abuse, menacing-domestic abuse and reckless endangering. Need was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
Failure to appear, driving with a suspended or revoked license — Mercedes Kaylin Cortes, 35, of the 600 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. Medford police arrested Cortes Thursday on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license and warrants for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended or revoked license and reckless driving. Cortes was lodged in jail on $70,000 bail.
Criminal trespass, unlawful use of a weapon — Kristine Renee Fair, 49, no known address. Medford police arrested Fair Thursday on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing. Fair was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Domestic abuse — Richard Michael Miller, 36, of the 200 block of Manzanita Drive, Prospect. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Miller Thursday on charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Miller was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Aviva Rosenthal, 35, of the 300 block of Arnos Road, Talent. Medford police arrested Rosenthal Friday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of carrying of concealed weapons and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Rosenthal was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Donald Wayne Summers, 59, no known address. Medford police arrested Summers Thursday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Summers was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Fugitive — Chadwin King, 42, of the 1500 block of North Potter Avenue, Richland, Washington. Medford police arrested King Friday on fugitive warrants from Idaho and Washington and charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. King was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Dennis Dell Lawson, 31, of the 700 block of Narregan Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Lawson Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Lawson was lodged in jail without bail.
Theft, child neglect — Justin Ryan Trompeter, 24, of the 200 block of Dianne Way, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Trompeter Saturday on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree child neglect, reckless endangering, attempting to elude police by vehicle, reckless driving, third-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, harassment and a parole violation for coercion. Trompeter was lodged in jail without bail.
Theft, burglary — Evsevio Ivan Castillo, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Castillo Saturday on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass and interfering with a peace officer. Castillo was lodged in jail without bail.
Kidnapping — Corey Allen Norton, 54, of the 1100 block of Butte Falls Highway, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Norton Sunday on charges of second-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, coercion, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing as well as warrants for failure to appear on charges of first-degree burglary, coercion, endangering-family abuse prevention act and tampering with a witness. Norton was lodged in jail without bail.
