Arrests

Theft, criminal trespass — Evsevio Ivan Castillo, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Castillo Thursday on charges of second-degree theft, second-degree criminal trespass, interfering with a peace officer and resisting arrest. Castillo was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $21,000 bail.

Criminal mischief, assault — Darin Hakes, 55, of the 700 block of Mountain Avenue, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Hakes Friday on charges of second-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. Hakes was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Albin Christopher Hudek, 49, of the 600 block of Ipson Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Hudek Wednesday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and interfering with making a report. Hudek was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Dean Blain Smith, 31, of the 200 block of South Haskell Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Smith Friday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, interfering with making a report and menacing-domestic abuse. Smith was lodged in jail without bail.

Identity theft — Hasaan Martell Baughns, 30, of the 6600 block of West Evans Creek, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Baughns Friday on charges of identity theft, reckless driving and giving false information to a peace officer, along with probation violations for first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Baughns was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — William Leon Bradley, 53, of the 900 block of Broadway Street, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested Bradley Friday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft and negotiating a bad check. Bradley was lodged in jail without bail.

Assault, unlawful use of a weapon — Nicolas Ian Cain, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Cain Saturday on charges of second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Cain was lodged in jail without bail.

Reckless driving, criminal mischief — Charles Burke Niemeyer, 43, of the 200 block of Howard Avenue, Eugene. Oregon State Police-Southwest Division arrested Niemeyer Saturday on charges of reckless driving, reckless endangering, second-degree criminal mischief, driving under the influence of intoxicants, resisting arrest and harassment. Niemeyer was lodged in jail without bail.

Felon in possession of a restricted weapon — Eric Robert Boe, 57, no known address. Medford police arrested Boe Saturday on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and resisting arrest. Boe was lodged in jail without bail.

Sodomy, sexual abuse — Eric Deen, 47, of the 800 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Deen Sunday on charges of first-degree sodomy and third-degree sexual abuse. Deen was lodged in jail without bail.

Burglary, failure to appear — Ethan Garrett Heigl, 21, of the 1200 block of New Haven Drive, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Heigl Sunday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, second-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, carrying of concealed weapons and second-degree criminal trespass, as well as warrants for failure to appear on charges of identity theft, first-degree theft, giving false information to a peace officer, first-degree criminal mischief, attempted unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree theft, aggravated identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and third-degree theft. Heigl was lodged in jail without bail.
