Donald T Wilkinson

August 27, 1931 – August 1, 2024

Our beloved Donald T. Wilkinson, age 92, sadly left our world on August 1, 2024. A truly special, generous and loving person was lost. Family meant the world to him.

Don was born in Medford Oregon, on August 27, 1931 to John J. Wilkinson and Geraldine M. Miksche Wilkinson. His grandmother and grandfather, Ellen and John Orth, were pioneers of Jacksonville, Oregon. Born and raised in Medford, he was a life member of the Medford and Ashland Elks Lodge and life parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Being a patriotic individual, he enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean war.

Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Catherine Judith Finegan Wilkinson, whom he adored, daughters Theresa Wilkinson Jones, (David), Marcia Wilkinson Baertlein, (Tom), sons Robert Wilkinson, Mark Wilkinson (Jennifer) and 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His life was well lived.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, August 17, 10:00am. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
