A Gold Hill man who works as a private basketball coach was arrested Monday for inappropriate contact with an underage child, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.

Geordan Victor Sanchez Edmond, 29, has been lodged in Jackson County Jail and charged with one count of luring a minor, the release said.

“Detectives suspect Edmond could have additional victims,” said the release, which notes that Edmond has worked locally as a coach for a number of years.
