Third Friday MedfordGalleries, restaurants, shops and studios in downtown Medford unveil new exhibits, host art demonstrations, offer special meals and more from 5 to 8 p.m. the third Friday of every month. The art walk celebrates all that downtown has to offer — shopping, dining, art and culture — and new experiences are offered each month. Art & Soul Ashland: The gallery features paintings in a variety of media and styles, pottery, photography and more by local and regional artists. Art du Jour Gallery: See exhibits by local artists in myriad media such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen-and-ink, Conté crayon, collage, sculpture, photography, mixed media and more. See paintings by featured artist Tom Semple on the Grey Wall gallery; The Art Vault will showcase the work from 12 members of the Pastel Artists of Oregon. Art Presence Art Center: The gallery, at 206 N. Fifth St., Jacksonville, features work by member artists in a variety of media including oil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic and fabric. Ashland Art Works: The gallery features the work of local artists in a variety of media, including ceramics, woodwork, fiber arts, jewelry and garden art. Central Art Gallery: See multimedia work by Cheryl Magellen in the exhibit “From Structure to Freedom,” on display through Aug. 16-Sept. 13. Fiber Arts Collective: See the work of approximately 30 fiber artisans at 37 N. Third St., Ashland. Talent Gallery: The new Talent Gallery, 111 Talent Ave., Talent, occupies the restored historic Malmgren Garage.
