Arrests

Domestic abuse — Marcos Barragan, 27, of the 2000 block of Hill Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Barragan Tuesday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Barragan was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Reckless driving, drugs — Bobby Shane Charlton, 48, of the 3200 block of Mirada Terrace, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Charlton Monday on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving, reckless endangering, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Charlton was lodged in jail on $125,000 bail.

Burglary, aggravated theft — Mitchell Jeffrey King, 35, of the 500 block of Mazama Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested King Tuesday on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree aggravated theft, first-degree criminal mischief, unlawful possession of a marijuana item and first-degree theft. King was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Theft, burglary — Dylan Buck McNerney, 31, of the 1000 block of Glengrove Avenue, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested McNerny Tuesday on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal mischief. McNerney was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Criminal mischief, burglary, theft — Kenneth Alan Parker, 48, of the 700 block of North Second Avenue, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Parker Tuesday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a marijuana item and first-degree aggravated theft. Parker was lodged in jail without bail.

Unlawful use of a weapon, disorderly conduct — Justin Newman Skaggs, 36, of the 1000 block of Idlewood Avenue, Azle, Texas. Medford police arrested Skaggs Tuesday on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree assault, menacing and third-degree theft. Skaggs was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to report as a sex offender — Jose Antonio Steiner, 42, no known address. Medford police arrested Steiner Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Steiner was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
