Arrests

Failure to appear — Mike Bechler, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Bechler Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card, second-degree theft and third-degree theft. Bechler was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs, domestic abuse — Richard Justin Garibay, 52, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Garibay Wednesday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a probation violation for fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Garibay was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Kevin Allen Grass, 33, of the 100 block of Fourth Street, Talent. Talent police arrested Grass Wednesday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and menacing-domestic abuse. Grass was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to report as a sex offender — Jarvis Gronholm, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Gronholm Wednesday on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender and a parole violation for second-degree burglary. Gronholm was lodged in jail without bail.

Theft, failure to appear — Matthew David Maurer, 46, of the 1100 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Maurer Tuesday on a charge of second-degree theft and warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. Maurer was lodged in jail on $45,000 bail.

Burglary, criminal mischief — Ruben Rivera Rodriguez, 25, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Rodriguez Wednesday on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police by vehicle, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation for felon in possession of a firearm. Rivera was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.

Parole violation — Ted Thacker, 59, no known address. Parole and probation officers arrested Thacker Wednesday on a parole violation for first-degree sodomy. Thacker was lodged in jail without bail.

Fugitive — Khiara Natalie Wagner, 36, of the 7400 block of 28th Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Wagner Wednesday on a fugitive warrant from California. Wagner was lodged in jail without bail.
