Larry Lynn Jacobs

April 23, 1940 – August 18, 2024

Larry “Jake” Lynn Jacobs, 84, of Medford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024. His burial will take place at the Eagle Point National Cemetery on Thursday September 19th, 2024 at 3:00pm.


Larry was born on April 23, 1940 in Powell, Nebraska to Harry and Harriet (Fogg) Jacobs. He resided in Powell, WY; Gearhart, OR and Medford, OR. He married his true love of 58 years, Carol Joyce Schultz.


Larry served our country for 25 ½ years in the United States Navy. After retiring, he worked for the National Weather Service for 22 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, karaoke and watching sports.


Larry is survived by his spouse, Carol of Medford, OR and his son, Kraig (Heidi) of La Grande, OR; daughter-in-law, Jacque Jacobs of Salem, OR; sisters, Pat Jones and Barb Werbelow both of Powell, WY; 7 grandchildren, Erik (Elena) Jacobs, Zackary (Kylin) Jacobs, Phoebe Jacobs, Olivia Jacobs and Savannah O’Connor; 1 great grandson, Izaak Jacobs and 19 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Erik Cody Jacobs.
