Arrests
Fugitive — Jason Allen Amburgy, 52, of the 15200 block of 49th Street, Sumner, Washington. Central Point police arrested Amburgy Wednesday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in Washington state. Amburgy was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
Forgery, aggravated theft — Travis Frederick Fraser, 34, of the 7100 block of West Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Fraser Tuesday on charges of second-degree forgery, first-degree aggravated theft, mail theft and felon in possession of a firearm. Fraser was lodged in jail on $62,500 bail.
Failure to appear — Michael David Jackson, 60, of the 13700 block of Williams Highway, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jackson Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal trespass and menacing. Jackson was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear, reckless driving — Shannon Dawn Kirk, 29, of the 8100 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kirk Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass, along with charges of attempting to elude police by vehicle, reckless driving, reckless endangering, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Kirk was lodged in jail on $12,500 bail.
Drugs — Jeremiah Dean Lanning, 45, of the 20 block of Western Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Lanning Wednesday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a probation violation for unlawful possession of heroin, second-degree criminal trespass and a city ordinance offense. Lanning was lodged in jail without bail.
Parole violation, assault — Stevie Arta Workman, 34, of the 9700 block of Kildear Drive, Bonanza, Oregon. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Workman Tuesday on a parole violation for second-degree rape and charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. Workman was lodged in jail without bail.
