Ashland Parks & Recreation has received more than $1.7 million in state grants that will cover major developments at two parks.

Another $720,000 grant approved Wednesday will cover the resurfacing of the tennis courts at Hunter Park.
Ashland Parks & Recreation has two years to spend the funds for the two projects, according to the agency.
