Arrests
Reckless driving — Ted Bishop Jensen, 42, of the 1200 block of Reese Creek Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jensen Thursday on charges of reckless driving, second-degree criminal trespass, attempting to elude police by vehicle, attempting to elude police by foot, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and on a parole violation for attempting to elude police by vehicle. Jensen was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail.
Robbery, assault — Trau-Darius Keshawn Pierce, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Pierce Friday on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, reckless driving, giving false information to a peace officer and hit-and-run vehicle. Pierce was lodged in jail on $51,000 bail.
Burglary, criminal mischief — Marcus Allen Weeks, 34, of the 1900 block of Southwest Betty Lane, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Weeks Thursday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree criminal trespass and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Weeks was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
Failure to appear — Andrew Michael Couser, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Couser Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree escape, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. Couser was lodged in jail without bail.
Burglary, failure to appear — Alberto Tavera, 38, of the 2500 block of Gould Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Tavera Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and contempt of court, as well as on charges of first-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass. Tavera was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Lucas Cleveland Atkins, 41, of the 4500 block of Cloudcrest Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Atkins Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of first-degree burglary and aggravated harassment. Atkins was lodged in jail without bail.
Fugitive — Lucas Ivan Carstens, 29, of the 1200 block of Winchester Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Carstens Sunday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in California. Carstens was lodged in jail without bail.
Drugs — John Lee Johnson, 35, of the 700 block of Bybee Drive, Jacksonville. Medford police arrested Johnson Saturday on charges of unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and giving false information to a peace officer. Johnson was lodged in jail without bail.
Drugs — Steven Richard Kline, 36, of the 2100 block of Archer Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Kline Sunday on charges of unlawful manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Kline was lodged in jail without bail.
