Election Letters about items on the ballot for the state’s Nov. 5 general election are limited to 150 words. Submissions exceeding that guideline either will be edited for length or returned to the writer for resubmission.

Submissions exhibiting evidence of a letter-writing campaign, as well as those including personal attacks, will not be published.

Letters must be submitted by Thursday, Oct. 24, for consideration for the Times’ Wednesday, Oct. 30, print edition. Letters received after Oct. 24 will be considered for publication on our website.

Letters must be submitted by Tuesday, Oct. 29, for consideration to run online at rv-times.com/opinion. Letters received after Oct. 29 will not be considered for publication.
