Arrests

Reckless endangering, assault — Fernando Chavez Cortes, 28, of the 1100 block of Skeeters Lane, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Chavez Cortes Wednesday on charges of reckless endangering, driving under the influence of intoxicants and fourth-degree assault. Chavez Cortes was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Ryan James Gartin, 31, of the 1200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Gartin Tuesday on charges of second-degree assault-domestic violence, unlawful use of a weapon-domestic violence, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree attempted assault-domestic abuse, menacing-domestic abuse and second-degree criminal mischief. Gartin was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.

Failure to appear, theft — Richard Ray Herrick, 66, of the 29800 block of Ellensburg Avenue, Gold Beach. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Herrick Tuesday on charges of second-degree theft, third-degree theft and second-degree criminal trespass along with warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. Herrick was lodged in jail on $31,000 bail.

Failure to appear — Ricardo Angel Palomares, 30, of the 200 block of North Ross Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Palomares Wednesday on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass and warrants for failure to appear on charges of fourth-degree assault, third-degree escape, harassment and resisting arrest. Palomares was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Alyssa Anne Rezendes, 33, of the 1500 block of Moon Terrace, Medford. Medford police arrested Rezendes Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct and unlawful delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance along with charges of second-degree criminal trespass and giving false information to a peace officer. Rezendes was lodged in jail without bail.
