Arrests

Drugs — John Douglas Pope, 36, of the 600 block of Shadow Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Pope Wednesday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, interfering with a peace officer and a parole violation for strangulation-domestic abuse. Pope was lodged in jail without bail.

Fugitive — Mirinda Stroup, 43, no known address. Oregon State Police-Southwest Division arrested Stroup Tuesday on a fugitive warrant from Idaho. Stroup was lodged in jail without bail.

Fugitive — Nicholas Joel Talaski, 43, of the 1300 block of Kaye Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Talaski Wednesday on a fugitive warrant from California. Talaski was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs — Michelle Lee White, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested White Wednesday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal trespass. White was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Failure to report as a sex offender — Leo Marcus Kropp, 53, of the 80 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kropp Monday on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Kropp was lodged in jail without bail.

Assault on a peace or public safety officer, theft — Peter John Calhoun, 44, of the 1700 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Calhoun Tuesday on charges of unlawful possession of heroin, second-degree theft, assault on a peace or public safety officer, harassment, resisting arrest and third-degree escape as well as a parole violation for first-degree burglary and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Calhoun was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Luring a minor, online sexual corruption of a child — Sage Austin Miller, 26, of the 700 block of Ridgewater Lane, San Diego, California. Medford police arrested Miller Monday on charges of luring a minor and first-degree online sexual corruption of a child. Miller was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs, failure to appear — Lindia Maria Thompson, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Thompson Monday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and a city ordinance offense. Thompson was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Aggravated harassment, criminal trespass — Joshua Lee Wheelock, 47, no known address. Medford police arrested Wheelock Monday on charges of aggravated harassment, second-degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest and a parole violation for first-degree arson. Wheelock was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.
