Felony arrests
Theft — Jacob Michael Gregoric, 35, of the 6800 block of Downing Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Gregoric Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.
Weapon use — Habib A. Jones, 24, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jones Thursday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing. He was booked into the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
Drugs — Steven Richard Kline, 36, of the 2100 block of Archer Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Kline Thursday on felony charges of delivering and possessing a Schedule II controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully possessing a Schedule II controlled substance and on a detainer for violating his probation on a prior delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
Vehicle Theft — Stephen Francis Payne, 72, of the 1000 block of South Grape Street, Medford. On Thursday, Payne made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a new felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and new misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants and hit-and-run property damage. Medford police originally arrested Payne Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for violating his probation on a prior fourth-degree assault domestic violence conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
