ELECTION LETTERS: Vote for Krause; Rowan committed to justice

Denise Krause for county commissioner
Denise has already made it clear that she will stand up for Jackson County voters by calling out spending on salaries by our county commissioners. We know that the county commissioners get routine cost of living raises — just for staying in office.
We voted in May by a 66% majority to cut the salaries of our county commissioners. Unfortunately, it only went into effect if the other measures passed. So, they will continue getting their raises with no accountability.
Denise will continue to work to change this situation. And she will make our commission responsive to our county’s problems and concerns. In other words, she will work for us in county government.
Please join me in voting for Denise Krause for county commissioner.

Rowan committed to fairness, justice
As the CEO of Outlier Construction, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless individuals who exemplify leadership, integrity and dedication to their community. Judge Matt Rowan is one such individual. His commitment to justice and fairness in the courtroom is matched only by his deep involvement in our community.
Judge Rowan’s passion for giving back is evident in his active participation in local youth sports programs. He understands the importance of shaping the next generation, and his hands-on approach — whether coaching on the field or mentoring off of it — demonstrates his dedication to fostering strong values in our youth. His contributions extend beyond the bench, making him a role model for both young and old alike.
It’s rare to find someone who not only excels professionally but also dedicates their personal time to enriching the lives of others. Judge Rowan embodies this balance, and it’s why I fully support his continued service to our community. His leadership, both in the courtroom and in our neighborhoods, is something we all benefit from.
