Arrests
Burglary, forgery — Shane Michael Cardoza, 53, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cardoza Thursday on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree forgery, first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, first-degree theft, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, resisting arrest, second-degree attempted burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, third-degree escape, driving with a suspended or revoked license and a parole violation for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Cardoza was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $22,500 bail.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Eli Joseph Odell, 52, of the 600 block of Amy Way, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Odell Thursday on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Odell was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Carrying of concealed weapons — Christian Charles Rasmussen, 34, no known address. Ashland police arrested Rasmussen Thursday on charges of carrying of concealed weapons, giving false information to a peace officer and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of first-degree theft. Rasmussen was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Drugs — Savannah Jo Torrez, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Torrez Friday on charges of unlawful delivery of heroin, unlawful manufacture of heroin, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance. Torrez was lodged in jail without bail.
Assault, disorderly conduct — Michael Gregory Dike, 63, of the 2300 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Dike Saturday on charges of second-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon and harassment. Dike was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Nancy Marizol Villa, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Villa Saturday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, giving false information to a peace officer and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Villa was lodged in jail without bail.
Theft, failure to appear — Heather Marie Cooper, 29, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Cooper Sunday on charges of unlawful possession of heroin, third-degree theft, giving false information to a peace officer and a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of second-degree theft. Cooper was lodged in jail without bail.
Burglary, criminal trespass — Caleb David Hamner, 27, no known address. Ashland police arrested Hamner Saturday on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief and a probation violation for first-degree burglary. Hamner was lodged in jail without bail.
