Mary Ann Jennings

August 13, 1930 – October 19, 2024

Mary Jennings, loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend passed away at her home in Medford, on October 19, 2024.

Mary was born in McMinnville, OR to Leland and Florence Clark. The family soon moved to Medford where they lived out their lives.

Mary graduated from Medford High School in 1948. She married George Jennings in 1950 and they moved to Kansas City for his medical education. They returned to Medford in 1955. While raising three sons, Scott, Doug and Jeff, she was an avid gardener and talented painter. Mary and George became very involved with growing and showing roses and were actively involved in local and national rose societies.

Mary was always known for her energy, kindness, generosity and willingness to help others. She was able to stay active and vivid her entire life and had many close friends at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her sons, Doug and Scott, her sister Betty Potter, three granddaughters, one great grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her youngest son Jeff, in 2011 and her husband George, in 2019.

A memorial gathering was held for Mary at Veranda Park on October 22, 2024.
