Arrests
Domestic abuse, disorderly conduct — Dennis Quezada Acevedo, 32, of the 10500 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Acevedo Monday on charges of strangulation-domestic abuse, fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, second-degree disorderly conduct, interfering with making a report, coercion and harassment. Acevedo was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail.
Failure to report as a sex offender — Travis Allan Cheyne, 36, of the 2300 block of Hollywood Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cheyne Tuesday on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. Cheyne was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
Fugitive, criminal trespass — Jakeb Otto Hume, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Hume Monday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in California as well as charges of second-degree criminal trespass and giving false information to a peace officer. Hume was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Georgia Regina Loren Marty, 39, of the 4600 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Marty Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of first-degree aggravated theft and first-degree criminal trespass. Marty was lodged in jail without bail.
Failure to appear — Ellen Beth Royle, 45, no known address. Medford police arrested Royle Tuesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and second-degree criminal trespass. Royle was lodged in jail without bail.
