Age: Ezra is a 1-year, 1-month-old male chocolate brown German shepherd mix.

Personality: Intelligent, energetic, loving, active and social.

Highlights: Ezra is energetic and athletic. He would thrive in a home with experience handling German shepherds, and a family willing to invest time and patience in his continued basic training. Ezra has a loving and energetic play style that may be a bit overwhelming for some of the more sensitive dogs in the playgroup. However, he thrives when his energy is directed toward other playful pups, ball games and walks. Ezra would also love to meet any resident dogs before adoption to ensure they’re a good match.

Availability: Ezra is available at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., Phoenix. The shelter is open 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and noon-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
