Arrests

Reckless driving — Heather Michelle Coniff, 53, of the 4700 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Coniff Thursday on charges of reckless driving, attempting to elude police by vehicle and reckless endangering. Coniff was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Drugs, attempting to elude police by vehicle — Jesus Macias, 37, no known address. Central Point police arrested Macias Thursday on charges of unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful manufacture of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful delivery of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, offensive littering, attempting to elude police by foot, tampering with evidence, reckless endangering and attempting to elude police by vehicle. Macias was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Ruben Maldonado-Valencia, 32, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Maldonado-Valencia Thursday on charges of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse, unlawful use of a weapon, harassment and menacing-domestic abuse. Maldonado-Valencia was lodged in jail on $75,000 bail.

Failure to appear — Ethan Taylor Sartin, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Sartin Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of giving false information to a peace officer, second-degree criminal trespass, third-degree escape, first-degree criminal trespass and felon in possession of a restricted weapon along with a probation violation for driving with a suspended or revoked license and a charge of carrying of concealed weapons. Sartin was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs — Florentino Ray Alvarez, 27, of the 100 block of Laurel Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Alvarez Tuesday on charges of unlawful possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, unlawful delivery of a Schedule I controlled substance, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of cocaine, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful delivery of cocaine. Alvarez was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Identity theft, disorderly conduct — Donald Blake Byers, 34, of the 700 block of Welch Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Byers Monday on charges of computer crimes, fraudulent use of a credit card, identity theft, first-degree theft, third-degree escape, first-degree forgery, second-degree disorderly conduct, harassment, interfering with a peace officer and giving false information to a peace officer along with warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and first-degree theft. Byers was lodged in jail on $50,000 bail.

Failure to report as a sex offender — Nathan Ray Jackson, 49, no known address. Medford police arrested Jackson Tuesday on charges of failure to report as a sex offender, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, second-degree criminal trespass and a parole violation for failure to report as a sex offender. Jackson was lodged in jail without bail.

Domestic abuse — Kara Elizabeth Scholer, 42, of the 2700 block of Eagle Creek Drive, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Scholer on charges of fourth-degree assault-domestic abuse and harassment. Scholer was lodged in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Disorderly conduct, domestic abuse — Jon Eric Corbell, 63, of the 300 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Corbell Tuesday on charges of second-degree assault-domestic abuse, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing-domestic abuse, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. Corbell was lodged in jail without bail.
