Arrests

Failure to appear, theft — John Aldaco, 22, of the 400 block of Morningside Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Aldaco Wednesday on a warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants along with charges of second-degree theft and third-degree theft. Aldaco was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Drugs — Jori Lace Beveridge, 39, of the 200 block of Hargadine Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Beveridge Thursday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants, unlawful possession of heroin and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Beveridge was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs — Dallas Tanner Compton, 31, of the 100 block of Lucas Court, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Compton Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as well as charges of third-degree criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Compton was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs, criminal mischief — Carlos Diaz, 40, of the 100 block of First Street, Prospect. Medford police arrested Diaz on charges of unlawful delivery of Schedule II controlled substance, reckless driving, unlawful possession of cocaine, first-degree criminal mischief, unlawful manufacture of a Schedule II controlled substance, unlawful manufacture of cocaine, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful delivery of cocaine, attempting to elude police by vehicle, unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, second-degree attempted assault and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Diaz was lodged in jail without bail.

Disorderly conduct, criminal mischief — David Richard Sommerer, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Sommerer Thursday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief. Sommerer was lodged in jail without bail.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants — Travis Wilder Staple, 49, of the 100 block of Cienaga Lane, Grants Pass. Ashland police arrested Staple Wednesday on charges of attempting to elude police by vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and hit and run vehicle-property damage. Staple was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
