Failure to appear — Christopher Dean Charlton, 45, of the 900 block of Chestnut Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Charlton Thursday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, negotiating a bad check, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, second-degree attempted theft, driving with a suspended or revoked license, contempt of court for violating a restraining order, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal mischief. Charlton was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $30,000 bail. 

Robbery, unlawful use of a weapon — Mason David McCue, 21, no known address. Medford police arrested McCue Wednesday on charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. McCue was lodged in jail on $350,000 bail. 

Assault, disorderly conduct — James Dean Orrick, 24, of the 2300 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Orrick Thursday on charges of second-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct, first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, interfering with a peace officer and harassment as well as a parole violation for first-degree theft. Orrick was lodged in jail on $100,000 bail. 

Criminal trespass, disorderly conduct — Christopher James Smith, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Smith Tuesday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal trespass. Smith was lodged in jail on $42,000 bail.
