Arrests

Fugitive — Jackson Jesus Chavez, 22, of the 200 block of Talent Avenue, Talent. Phoenix police arrested Chavez Monday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in California. Chavez was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail. 

Disorderly conduct, theft — Daniel George Montgomery, 46, of the 2300 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Montgomery Monday on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree theft and menacing. Montgomery was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Drugs — Jimmy Ray Roberts, 49, of the 1500 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Roberts Monday on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of cocaine. Roberts was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance. 

Reckless driving — Kerek Wayne Strock, 20, of the 3200 block of Cedar Links Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Strock Tuesday on charges of reckless driving and attempting to elude police by vehicle. Strock was lodged in jail without bail.
