Arrests

Criminal mischief, driving under the influence — Michael Shane Akers, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Akers Friday on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, attempting to elude police by vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, resisting arrest and reckless endangering as well as a parole violation for felon in possession of a firearm. Akers was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail. 

Failure to report as a sex offender, drugs — Jesse Elijah Corley, 21, of the 300 block of Southeast K Street, Grants Pass. Eagle Point police arrested Corley Friday on charges of failure to report as a sex offender, unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, fourth-degree assault, attempting to elude police on foot and resisting arrest. Corley was lodged in jail without bail. 

Fugitive — Debbie Sue Boyer, 44, of the 4500 block of Mager Drive, Armadillo, Texas. Medford police arrested Boyer Friday on a warrant as a fugitive wanted in Texas. Boyer was lodged in jail without bail. 

Drugs, identity theft — Darrell Andrew Johnson, 36, of the 100 block of Lincoln Street, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Johnson Friday on charges of unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, identity theft and giving false information to a peace officer as well as a parole violation for first-degree burglary. Johnson was lodged in jail without bail.  

Criminal trespass, disorderly conduct — Christopher Shane Boyce, 34, of the 1100 block of Savage Creek Road, Rogue River. Medford police arrested Boyce Saturday on charges of second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault, maintaining a dangerous dog and a probation violation for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Boyce was lodged in jail without bail.

Failure to appear — Michael Timothy Fowler, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Fowler Sunday on warrants for failure to appear on charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful use of a weapon and false reporting. Fowler was lodged in jail without bail.
