The National Weather Service has posted a high wind advisory from Medford south to Ashland through 6 p.m. Wednesday.
NWS-Medford predicts southeast winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, according to an update on the service’s website.
The windy conditions will mainly affect the Interstate 5 corridor from south Medford through Phoenix and Talent and into Ashland, forecasters said.
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the update said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
